Born and raised in the solitary wilderness of a small town in the dead center of Germany, Philip Nauck developed a not always quite so healthy obsession with the medium of film. After graduating from high school, he went to Berlin to shoot films. At first a convinced autodidact, he finally studied at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg. Subsequently he made his first feature film for the ZDF with the Neo-Noir thriller The Second Man.
Philip loves to create cinematic worlds that are exaggerated, strange and offbeat.
In order to live out his full nerd potential, Philip also works as a Motion Graphics Designer and Visual Effect Artist. Over the years, he has worked for various companies as well as cinema and television productions (including NDR, SWR, ZDF, PBS International, Mandalay Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment).
